On traveling
in Italy for 2 and a half months, I encountered a long stretch of not
very nice
weather. A lot of rain! There was an abundance of ripe fruit on the trees, in Orvieto where I
was at the time, so this painting came about as an indoor painting when I couldn't be outside.
