Welcome to Paintscape Abroad

We take you on painting trips a little off the beaten track. We strive to make
you  comfortable,  inspired,  excited,  and informed.  We provide the  best
in teaching,  lovely locations,  great food and a great time to be had by all.

Our groups are small, 13 students maximum,
so  you  get  lots of  individual  attention.


In May of 2003, we went to  Ireland


The instruction is in watercolor but
other mediums are welcome, as the
instructors, usually also paint in
other mediums.

The workshops are open to all levels
of painters, even total beginners.

Catherine Gill   is able to work with all
levels, and is particularily known for
her work with beginners.
 



In our trip in May we traveled to the remote southwestern tip of Ireland.
International painter, teacher, and traveler Catherine Gill, is our instructor for this  trip. You will
get to meet local artists as well as see and experience  the local culture. This is a less touristed
area of Ireland,  and there are  lots of local pubs and shops,  for the music and  the local color.
Non-painting  partners  are also welcome and there  are many activities  in the  area for them,
including golf and fishing.

 
 



Deborah Stachowic  who organizes the
trips, is also a painter and teacher.


In the future, we are exploring the possibilities in
Italy, Spain. and France. We will be updating
you as soon as the trips are set up.
